Their latest release "The Stars Are Cold Toys" find Intenso in a more considered narrative orientation, for the first time working with partially composed pieces, the recordings heavily underpinned by the control voltage of modular synthesis. The action remains always and foremost free improvisation although entwined in this new EP is a deeper ambient disposition with a greater openness and pace to previous recordings.
